Nakheel Asset Management – Int. City vs Dubai Electricity and Water Authority

Have you remember my post about moving to international city last June. Yes after a long long patience that I have made and waited for 4 months, I decide to write a post about Nakheel Asset Management in International City with their unhelpful & unprofessional customer service. Ok it’s starts from here…

So yeah last June me & my wife move to International City because  of the expensive  rent  in  Deira on where we live before… We are happy on our decision and we also love the place.. starts from day 1 before I handed over the cheque to Mr. M.

Mr. M is a helpful local guy (yes I think he is a local) and guide me through all the process of getting a flat in International City in China Cluster.

After handing over the 3 cheques Mr. M, he gave me a 1 paper about connection of DEWA and told me to go to any branch of DEWA (Dubai Electricity and Water Authority) to deposit 1000 AED (to get in $ just divide in 3.67) for the connection of the place. New visa rule in Dubai

I just been here in Dubai for 4 years now and I can say Dubai is the best place here in the middle east for expatriates. Everyday more expatriates are coming from Dubai in different countries in Asia like Indian, Pakistani, Filipino, Chinese and other languages hoping to get a Dubai job.

I came here in Dubai as one of those visit visa, in 2004, hoping that I can get a real nice job to send money in my home country for my family. My first job was in advertising company and sadly I work for 3 months, but I did not get my salary. I always thought that this is only my trial life and because I am a visit visa, I must leave the country and go back again here in Dubai for new visit visa. Before 2005 mid june (If Im not mistake), Dubai Government revamp their visa rules. Now you can only stay in Dubai for a 2 months visit and then after that you must leave the country and go back here in Dubai. Since then I prepared myself for and atlast I got a real good job..

Ok back to the New visa rule of Dubai
